Our evening began with a selection of appetizers that teased our palates. I opted for a rich, creamy bowl of butternut soup, its smooth texture perfectly complemented by a touch of ginger and coconut cream. Meanwhile, my friend enjoyed a plate of crispy, sandwich served with a tangy tartar sauce that added a delightful contrast to the dish.
For the main course, I indulged in a perfectly grilled ribeye steak, served with a side of creamy mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables.

The steak, cooked to a juicy medium, was rich in flavor with a slight smoky char that elevated every bite. My friend, on the other hand, went for a hearty portion of grilled lamb chops served with vegetables in a mshikaki. The lamb was tender and infused with aromatic herbs, accompanied by a generous serving of rosemary potatoes, fried arrowroots, samosa and a fresh garden salad.

To complete the experience, we shared a decadent slice of chocolate cake for dessert. Moist and rich, the cake was layered with velvety chocolate ganache and paired with a scoop of vanilla and chocolate biscoff ice cream, creating a blissful end to our meal.

With dinner complete, we made our way to Sankara’s rooftop bar, a sanctuary above the city where expertly crafted cocktails meet breathtaking skyline views. Sipping on a passionfruit mojito while watching the twinkling city lights below was the perfect way to wind down the evening.
