Apple’s Next Beats Headphones Leak Again as New Details Emerge

Apple appears to be preparing a new pair of Beats over-ear headphones, with regulatory filings and leaked product listings offering a glimpse at what could be the company's next major addition to the Beats lineup.

The headphones have reportedly surfaced again, despite Apple yet to officially announce the product.

According to reports, a pair of upcoming Beats headphones appeared in Brazil's National Telecommunications Agency database on August 20. The filing reportedly identifies the device by model number A3577, but does not reveal its commercial name.

The same model number was previously spotted in a US Federal Communications Commission filing in May, where the product was described as Bluetooth over-ear headphones made by Apple.

Are these the Beats 360?

The upcoming headphones could be marketed as the Beats 360, following product listings that briefly appeared on Amazon UK before being removed.

Screenshots shared online reportedly showed a pair of over-ear headphones with a foldable design, interchangeable ear cushions, spatial audio and an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance.

The leaked listing also claimed the headphones could offer up to 1.75 times more noise cancellation than the Beats Studio Pro, although Apple has not confirmed those specifications.

Images circulating online show a cushioned headband and earcups covered in a knitted-looking material, giving the headphones an appearance somewhat reminiscent of Apple's AirPods Max.

The alleged headphones have also appeared in several colour options, including pink, white and a blue shade referred to as "sky" in the leaked listings.

A possible price of $299 (about Sh 38,700) has also circulated online, using an exchange rate of roughly Sh 129.45 to the US dollar on August 22, 2026.

Leaks are not the only clues

The speculation has gained further attention after several football stars were reportedly seen wearing what appear to be the same unannounced Beats headphones during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Players including Antonee Robinson, Lamine Yamal and Lee Kang-in were spotted wearing headphones that appeared similar to the models shown in the leaked Amazon listings.

While these appearances do not constitute an official product announcement, they have added to speculation that Apple could be preparing to launch the headphones.

Apple has not confirmed the product's name, specifications, price or release date.

A new over-ear Beats model after three years

The potential release would mark an important update for the Beats headphone lineup.

Apple's most recent Beats headphones include the Beats Solo 4, released in 2024 and priced at $200 (about Sh 25,900) at launch. The company's latest over-ear model with active noise cancellation is the Beats Studio Pro, introduced in 2023 at $350 (about KSh 45,300).

If the leaked $299 (about Sh 38,700) price is accurate, the new headphones would sit between the Solo 4 and Studio Pro in Apple's Beats range.

The leaked features could also position the new model as a more affordable alternative to Apple's premium AirPods Max.

Don't expect them at the next iPhone event

Despite the growing number of leaks, the new Beats headphones may not appear at Apple's next major iPhone event.

Reports suggest Apple could introduce its next generation of iPhones at its September event, but the leaked Beats product does not necessarily form part of that launch.

Apple has yet to announce an event date or confirm whether the headphones will be unveiled alongside new iPhone hardware.

The company could instead introduce the Beats headphones separately at a later date.

More Beats products could be coming

The Beats 360 may also not be the only new Beats product Apple is developing.

References to two additional headphone models have reportedly appeared in a recent macOS beta, suggesting Apple could be working on multiple new audio products.

For now, however, much of the information surrounding the Beats 360 remains based on leaks, regulatory filings and unofficial listings rather than announcements from Apple.

Until the company confirms the headphones, details such as the name, price, battery life, noise-cancellation performance and release date should be treated as unconfirmed.

What this means for consumers

If the leaked information proves accurate, Apple could be preparing a significant refresh of its Beats over-ear headphone range.

A $299 (about Sh 38,700) price would place the suspected Beats 360 below the current $350 (about Sh 45,300) Studio Pro launch price, while features such as spatial audio, interchangeable cushions and improved noise cancellation could make the model a notable competitor in the mid-to-premium headphone market.

For now, however, consumers will have to wait for Apple to make the headphones official before the leaked specifications and pricing can be confirmed.
