With the daily technological advancement, evidence suggests that humans are beginning to view robots as teammates.

This “Collaboration” can have both negative and positive effects on people's performance. However, this has made humans to be sort of completely reliant on machines even to complete simple tasks.

In addition, there is no longer need for human labour in many industrial and service sectors, giving people more free time.

This could appear as a positive development, but it has also resulted in less physical exercise and a greater reliance on technology to do our tasks.

As social media and streaming services grow in popularity, people can easily access a wide range of entertainment without ever leaving their homes; this has led to a decrease in social interaction and face-to-face communication. Similarly, AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants have made it easy to communicate with others without having to put in much effort, leading to a decrease in interpersonal skills and empathy. Conclusion

We, humans, improve the more we practice; writing, reading, coding, engaging, and so on.

It is undeniable that technology has made life easier and we have achieved a lot of things so far, but handing over these activities completely to machines, in the long run, is detrimental to us.

It is in this process of trying to make life easy, we are making future generations lazy by placing so much trust in these algorithms.

I would like to conclude by saying, that AI has made us lazy and resulted in a decline in physical activity, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, personal responsibility, self-motivation, interpersonal abilities, and empathy. I believe humans are still and will be smarter than AI if we stop totally depending on AI to complete simple tasks.

I believe in teamwork but teamwork can have negative as well as positive effects on people’s performance.

People may become complacent, allowing their teammates, whether human or robotic, to shoulder the bulk of the work.

As AI continues to advance, it will be important to consider the potential negative effects on human behaviour and ensure that individuals are not becoming overly reliant on technology.
